Obama, Gaza is Waiting for Messiah!

By Novriantoni Kahar

Obama’s readiness and ability to use the momentum will deliver double outcomes: the positive image of the US will restore and the seeds of radicalism and terrorism will lose its justification. Quoting Irshad Manji, Obama have to prove that the US is rather a non-fulfilled expectation than the main villain in the Middle Eastern turmoil.

Peace in the Middle East not only need obama or the U.S. role but the role of the world, especially Islamic countries.

Obama’s speech would not give new expectation.
just one that Obama can see by world people is he has to make new implementation by doing not speech by speaking.
all people, specially Moslem disappointed when Obama make policy for Palestine.
for this we act as a khalifah (leader)to control earth today.

Let’s just give hope. I think Obama is the greatest hope for some type of peace. He can’t do any worse if you think about it.

I think it’s going too far beyond the limit if we have expectation to be put on Obama’s shoulder, such as, say, to hope Obama to become the Messiah finding solution over Palestinian crisis,......
I am very sure that the Messiah should not come from outside Palestina. For years of conflict with Israel, there has been no one inside Palestinian people who can emerge to become a solidarity maker to unite Palestinian that has been torn to pieces by Hamas and Fatah for a long time. How come, Hamas and Fatah shoot and kill each other, all in the name of fighting against Israel???
Clearly speaking, in my opinion, internal peace created by internal Palestinian people should come first before start talking about dealing with Israel.
The very big question is, are they, the people of Palestina, willing and able to create internal peace among themselves and then maintain the peace permanently in order to be able to challenge Israel? Do not always blame and curse America. They’d better look into themselves. Introspect.
Then start doing the “SWOT (Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threat) Analysis” over the long, long years struggle against Israel. Find solution what to do, at last. And make a strong commitment.
