Textualism, Islamism, and Religious Violence

A textualist Muslim will perceive the permission of beating wives and children rather than the deeper essence behind the sacred text, which is to educate them. Textual religious understanding may endorse violence, although religion should not be misunderstood as the source of violence.

Religion should not be misunderstood as the source of violence. I did not know that some religion would go that far to educate someone, I only knew one thing that violence is violence and not in any way can help you in educating. One must be responsible in every action you take. Anyway the survey created in this article is good and I’m glad I came across this site. Been reading it and came to realize there are lost of things i didn’t know about life.
