Several main program of Liberal Islam Network are bellow:

Syndication of Liberal Muslim Writer

Collecting articles of some prominent (or not prominent) writers whose concern withstand on pluralism and inclusivism. This syndication would provide qualified resources, interviews, and articles for local newspapers which usually difficult to find good writers. By the existence of “regional autonomy”, local newspapers plays more important role, and the sounds of tolerant religion is important to disseminate. We provide the article and interview for local newspaper every week.

Talk show on Radio 68H News Station

This talk show invites public figures who are known as the promoter of pluralism and inclusivism to discuss about various social-religious issue in the country. The show will be held weekly and broadcasted across Radio 68 H network in Indonesia.

Publishing Book

Liberal Islam Network also publishes books on religious pluralism and inclusivism. In the form of translation, and republishing old books that are relevant with those themes. We had published compilations of articles, interviews, and discussions we held, titled as Wajah Liberal Islam Indonesia and Ijtihad Islam Liberal.

Publishing Booklet

For the reader’s satisfaction, Liberal Islam Network published booklet of 50-100 pages in a crunchy and digestive language. These booklets discuss and respond several controversial issues among society from the liberal Islam perspective. Those themes are jihad, the enforcement of Islamic sharia, enforcement of amr ma’ruf nahy munkar (commandment of good deeds and prevention of the bad ones) etc. The published booklet is Koran for Women, Critics upon Jilbab, and Islamic Sharia: Liberal Muslim’s Perspective.

Islamlib.com Website

It started from the liberal Islam mailing list (.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)) which get positive appraisals. Several members suggest expanding the mailing list into the form of website that is accessible for anyone. All Liberal Islam Network’s product (media syndication, talk show etc) will be uploaded into the website. It will also publish every progress of news, article or anything regarding Liberal Islam Network’s mission. The website address is www.islamlib.com

Public Service Advertisement

To disseminate liberal Islamic visions, we produce several Public Service Advertisements about pluralism, celebrating diversity, and prevention of social conflict. We produced advertisement under title: The Colorful Islam, do not use religion as political commodity etc.

Islamic Discussions

Through cooperation with the outer parties (university, student associations, pesantren etc) we held several discussions and seminars about Islamic and religious themes in general. Discussion is held in Teater Utan Kayu monthly. Islamic discussion also in cooperation with student association of several universities, like University of Indonesia in Jakarta, Diponegoro University in Semarang, Bogor Institute of Agriculture, Bandung Institute of Technology, Islamic University of Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Airlangga University in Surabaya, Brawijaya University in Malang etc.
